Born out of love for the Hawaiian Islands, ‘Ohana Organics began as a dream to bring the beauty, scents, and healing power of the Islands into everyday skincare. Tara Cooper, founder of ‘Ohana Organics, grew up surrounded by the vibrant colors and tropical essences of Hawaii. After moving to Northern California for college, she found herself missing the magic of the Islands. Living the busy life of a stay-at-home mom with two young daughters, Tara was on a mission to find high-quality skincare products that were safe, natural, and truly effective for her ‘Ohana (family). But 25 years ago, options were scarce, and she struggled to find products that met her standards. Fueled by a passion for organic ingredients and a deep love for the Hawaiian values of care and connection, Tara set out to create her own. What started as a personal quest soon blossomed into ‘Ohana Organics—a skincare line dedicated to crafting nourishing, botanical-infused products made with integrity, sustainability, and lots of Aloha.
